Fleur Lesnichiy

Fleur started dancing at the age of 2 and attended The Johnson School of Dancing in St Helens.  At 13, she was invited to attend monthly classes with the Royal Ballet School.  This was the pilot scheme for what is now the Mid Associate programme and she went on to complete a further two years of Senior Associates.

At 16 she was awarded a place at The Northern Ballet School and spent a year studying at Merseyside Dance and Drama Centre. At 17 she began her professional career as a magician’s assistant and spent the next 10 years as a professional dancer.  She danced on cruise ships where she was promoted to company manager and also in hotels and casinos in Europe and North Africa.  She has been teaching ballet for the last four years at a large dance school in Portsmouth where she also ran their dance shop and specialised in pointe shoe fitting.  She is a qualified ISTD ballet teacher and is also a certified teacher in Progressing Ballet Technique.  Fleur also runs her own business making Showgirl Feather costumes!

Fleur is currently involved with choreographing and rehearsing our competition teams.
