The Stage Factory is now well known as one of the best tap dance schools in the region. Our up to date, original choreography adds a new dimension to this dance style.

Tap dancing is most generally associated with the films and musicals of Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly. At The Stage Factory, you’ll find yourself tapping to all types of music including jazz, blues, big band, jive, Broadway and even hip hop, rock, pop and dance music!

Anyone at any age can have a go, and in a very short space of time you can gain a real sense of achievement, as well as having fun and getting fit! Children’s classes follow the I-PATH Tap syllabus but also include free work and American Tap. Our adult tap class consists of free work and a dance routine and the group perform alongside the children in our shows.
