The Stage Factory is widely recognised as one of the best tap schools in the region, with original, up-to-date choreography that brings a fresh dimension to this classic style.

Tap is most often associated with the golden-age films and musicals of Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly, but here you’ll tap along to everything from jazz, blues, big band and Broadway to hip hop, rock and pop.

Dancers of any age can join in, and it doesn’t take long to feel a real sense of achievement while having fun and keeping fit. Children’s classes follow the I-PATH Rhythm Tap syllabus alongside free work, while our adult tap class combines free work with a full routine, with the group having the option to perform alongside the children in our annual theatre show.
